REPORTED REQUESTS AND COMMANDS
Có thể báo cáo các yêu cầu và lệnh bằng 'ask' hoặc 'tell' + tân ngữ trực tiếp và 'to-'infinitive.
“She asked me to come back as soon as possible because my father is seriously ill.”
Cô ấy yêu cầu tôi quay lại càng sớm càng tốt vì bố tôi đang ốm nặng.
“As the concert finished, I heard someone call my name, I turned and there were two men from security who asked me to go up on the stage.”
Khi buổi hòa nhạc kết thúc, tôi nghe thấy ai đó gọi tên mình, tôi quay lại thì có hai người bảo vệ mời tôi lên sân khấu.
